The armed robbery occured yesterday at the "Fast Lane" in South Williamson, which is on the Kentucky - W.Va. border in Pike County.

Police received a 9-11 call from an undisclosed witness who said the robber threatened to kill the clerk if she "didn't give him all the money in the cash register." The man then ran off with an estimated $620 in cash.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, around five feet, six inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. The witness told police the man had black hair and a black beard. Police say the investigation is continuing.
