Second Defendant In Murder Case To Go On Trial

The trial for a Bourbon County man accused of killing a teenager is set to begin today.

Kristopher Carter is charged with murder in connection with the death of Jennifer Toadvine.

She was stabbed to death in 2004.

Her body was hidden under a woodpile.

Carter's friend, William Olver, was also charged with the murder.

Oliver pleaded guilty earlier this year and was sentenced to 30 years.

Toadvine was Oliver's ex-girlfriend.
