Police Increase Enforcement Along Central Kentucky Road

Watch your speed if you're headed along US 27 in four Kentucky counties.

Police will be out in force along the US 27 corridor through Bourbon, Fayette, Jessamine and Garrard Counties beginning today through Sunday, July 29.

It's part of an "Operation Drive Smart Enforcement Blitz" by police.

Police say there may also be safety checkpoints along the corridor.
