Six people, including five Kentuckians, were injured in a crash in Florida that police say was caused by a wrong-way driver.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Shana Pruitt, crashed head-on into an SUV, driven by 38-year-old Joseph McGinnis, of Thelma, Ky., early Friday morning in Jacksonville.
McGinnis, Pruitt, and two passengers in the SUV suffered serious injuries in the crash.
Two other people sustained critical injuries.
Thelma, Ky. is east of Paintsville.
A newspaper in Jacksonville reports the Kentucky family was heading home at the time of the crash.
