Comair Plane Crash To Be Presented At Meeting For Death Investigators

Print

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The top death scene investigators in North America are in Saint Louis this week learning the latest advancements in forensic sciences.

The meeting at Saint Louis University School of Medicine - held once every two years - is the largest of its kind in North America.

Presentations will include one on last summer's Comair plane crash in Lexington, Kentucky.

The meeting is designed for crime scene investigators, forensic pathologists, scientists, coroners, emergency personnel and police
officers.

Presentations will include both the mundane and strange - from death by methamphetamine to the "choking game," where teenagers asphyxiate themselves for a sense of euphoria.
