Standoff Ends Peacefully In Lexington Neighborhood
A standoff tonight, after man barricades himself inside a home on Sewanee lane with a gun.
Police say it all started when the man's girlfriend told him he needed to go to rehab.
The man then locked himself in a home with the gun and treated to kill himself.
When police arrived on the scene they were told the man was an avid hunter and had an extensive gun collection.
After an hour, police used a bull horn to talk the man out.
The man was taken to the Hospital for a mental evaluation.
No one was hurt.
