Woman Testifies In Daughter's Murder Case

Emotions ran high as testimony got underway in a Central Kentucky Murder Case.

The mother of the victim, Cynthia Toadvine, took the stand first Tuesday morning.

Her teenage daughter, Jennifer Toadvine, was found stabbed to death behind a woodpile in 2004.

Toadvine's ex-boyfriend, William Oliver, pleaded guilty to murder and is serving 30 years in prison.

His friend, Christopher Carter, is now on trial.

Carter is charged with complicity to commit murder in the stabbing death of 19-year-old Jennifer Toadvine.

A jury was seated in the case Monday afternoon.
