Circuit Court Clerk Guilty Of Official Misconduct

Bourbon County Circuit Court Clerk Sherry Rankin has been convicted of official misconduct.

Rankin was accused of changing traffic violations in the electronic records system, one of which involved her mother.

The Lexington Herald Leader reports Rankin was convicted on 2 counts and fined $250 dollars for one count and $500 dollars for the other.

She'll have to serve 30 days in jail.
