Junice Mays, who police say caused a standoff in Irvine Friday night, was arraigned in Estill County Tuesday.
He plead not guilty.
A judge then set his bond at $3 million dollars.
Police say Mays fired shots at Irvine police officer Eddie Asher Friday night, then refused to come out of an apartment for hours.
Asher suffered minor injuries.
Mays is scheduled for a mental health evaluation. He'll be back in court next Wednesday.
