It's quite a crime spree. Dozens of break-ins at homes and businesses over the past two years are now being connected to one man, and Lexington Police need your help finding him.

Police are looking for 42-year-old Ricky Eugene Slone, and there's currently a warrant out for his arrest.

"He is a suspect in over 40 burglaries that happened between 2008 to 2009. There were alot of commercial burglaries and businesses that happened in the Hamburg area and in downtown Lexington during those two years", says Detective Rob Sarrantonio with Lexington Police.

They say Ricky Slone is also suspected of burglarizing homes near UK's campus.

"He knew their routine when they were not home and burglarized the house. A lot of time this happened during Christmas and Fall breaks when the students were out of town. He would target those areas", says Detective Sarrantonio.

They believe Ricky Eugene Slone is in the area. They are currently looking for him.

"We know he's been in the Lexington area, but he also has family in Campbellsville", says Detective Sarrantonio.

They're hoping with his arrest, it will impact the number of burglaries they've recently been seeing.

"We could see a substantial decrease in burglary statistics putting someone like this whose responsible for this many away", says Detective Sarrantonio.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020 if you know the whereabouts of Ricky Eugene Slone.
