More than a year after a Lexington man is gunned down in broad daylight, a jury Wednesday says his stepson is guilty of the crime.
It then recommended Josue Arevalo spend 40 years in prison.
In March, 2006, police found 36-year-old Pedro Lily shot to death in a car on Ward Drive.
Arevalo was arrested shortly after.
He'll be formally sentenced August 10.
