More "Pill Pipeline" arrests made

Police in Southern Kentucky continue to make arrests of people they say are buying drugs on the so-called "Pill Pipeline."

Williamsburg Police arrested three people from Ohio, around 4 Wednesday morning.

Police say they found two of the suspects in a car, after getting a call about two suspicious people at the Pilot Travel Station.

24-year-old Keith Weinrich was charged with DUI, changing drivers, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.

23-year-old Elizabeth Cross was charged with public intoxication, having prescription drugs not in the original container, and changing drivers.

They say they also learned about another suspect, who police say left with a woman he met in the parking lot of the truck stop.

That man, 29-year-old Shawn Simmons, was charged with public intoxication and drug trafficking.

The suspects told police they had been to a pain clinic in Tampa, Florida.
