A middle school teacher, and her boyfriend, are now facing drug charges.

Lexington police executed a search warrant at Ashley Delaney's home on Duvall Court Tuesday night.

Police say they found at least 12 marijuana plants, and baggies with marijuana in them.

Delaney is a language arts and dance teacher at Crawford Middle School in Lexington.

She and her boyfriend, Jeremy Byard, are facing multiple drug charges, including trafficking near a school, because both live near Veterans Park Elementary.

Both Delaney and Byard are being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
