Big blue fans invading Nashville for SEC Tournament

Even though the Wildcats don't play until Friday, many big blue fans are already painting Nashville blue.

They were there Thursday for day one of the SEC showdown to see who takes home the conference championship.

As Nashville opens its arms to SEC fans, it also hopes the tens of thousands of fans will also open their wallets.

180,000 fans are expected to come to Music City in the next four days, and pump $10 million into the local economy.

If you're still planning to go to Nashville, but don't have tickets, be prepared to pay a lot for them.

Scalping is legal in Nashville.

The going rate for an upper arena seat in Bridgestone Arena is $150, with lower area seats going for around $300.

Those prices are just for UK's game Friday.

UK plays Alabama at 1 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament. You can watch the game live on WKYT.
