Toyota has one again idled production temporarily at its Georgetown plant.

The plant had its first scheduled non-production day last month. Today is the second.

A third non-production day has been scheduled for Friday, March 26.

The Georgetown plant builds the Camry, Avalon, and Venza.

The stoppage is to help prevent vehicles from being over produced. Sales have slowed recently due to safety recalls.

Another non-production day is possible in April.

Today, employees at the plant can do odd jobs at the plant, take a vacation day, or stay home with no pay.
