Greyhound Bus Catches Fire On I-75

A Greyhound bus on its way from Cincinnati caught fire early Friday morning, forcing passengers off the bus.

The bus was carrying 47 people.

Passers-by noticed flames in the rear of the bus and called 911.

The driver stopped the bus and everyone got off safely.

Nobody was injured.

The road is back open.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A Greyhound bus caught fire on Interstate 75 in Fayette County this morning, but the vehicle was evacuated and there were no injuries.

A tractor trailer hauling scrap metal has crashed on I-75 at mile marker 148 in Grant County, closing north-bound traffic. No injuries are reported.
