Posted: Fri 6:31 PM, Jul 27, 2007

Lexington police say the Fifth Third Bank off Leestown Road was robbed just before 4:00 Friday afternoon.

Police say a man walked into the bank with a pillow case and demanded money from the teller.

We're told no customers were inside the bank when the robbery occurred, only bank employees. Police say the teller complied with the robbers demand.

The suspect is described as a white male, standing at 5'10 to 6'0 feet tall. He is in his mid 20's to late 30's and weighing at 170 to 180 lbs.
He was seen wearing an orange and blue baseball cap, grey sweatshirt and dark sunglasses.
