Former coaches face sex charges in western Ky.

HARTFORD, Ky. (AP) - Two former high school coaches have been
charged with having sexual relations with teenage girls.
Kentucky State Police arrested 43-year-old Terry W. Nofsinger of
Greenville on five counts of sodomy, nine counts of sexual abuse,
14 counts of unlawful transaction with a minor-sexual act and
complicity, while 32-year-old Nathan E. Phelps of Hartford was
charged with five counts of unlawful transaction with a
minor-sexual act.
An Ohio County grand jury indicted the men Thursday. They were
both released on bond after being arrested Monday.
Police say the allegations occurred between June 2000 and May
2003 when Nofsinger and Phelps were employed by Ohio County High
School as basketball coaches. The allegations involved girls who
were 15 and 16 years old.
