Police: Suspect admitted to one of two robberies he's accused of

New information is emerging about the arrest of a man police think may be a serial robber.

Lexington Police and U.S. Marshals arrested 27-year-old Justin Morris Monday.

According to police reports, Morris has admitted to committing at least one of the two robberies he's accused of.

Both robberies, at a Microtel Hotel and the C & C Pharmacy on Mapleleaf Drive, were caught on tape.

Police say Morris walked into the pharmacy March 1, pulled out a gun, and stole more than 1,000 Oxycontin pills, along with $100.

The day before, police say $600 was stolen from the Microtel at gunpoint.

Police say an anonymous tip led them to Morris, who was later arrested. Police say he was picked out of a police lineup by witnesses.

During an interview with police, he allegedly confessed to robbing the hotel.

Police say he didn't act alone, saying his girlfriend, Jessica Bryant, was driving the getaway car.

Both Morris and Bryant will be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Morris also had fake checks, fake money, and stolen credit cards.

Morris is also wanted as a suspect in a crime out of Woodford County.
