Police spent much of the day on Tuesday investigating at a central Kentucky man's home where they found his body.
58-year-old Carl Bartley's death is being treated as a murder.
Police went to his home on Route 1050 in Jeffersonville in Montgomery County after family members called them.
Bartley was well known in Montgomery County where he owned a car dealership and land.
Police aren't releasing details about how he may have died, but do say that his death is suspicious. Bartley's family memebers say he was shot.
There are several people of interest in this case, but no suspects yet.
The autopsy is being performed in Frankfort, today.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been set.
