Lexington Police Investigate Shooting Along Paris Pike

Lexington Police are searching for a gunman after a man is shot inside his car. It happened around 9:00 Tuesday night on Lexington's North side.

A man called police and told them he was shot outside the
Las Palmas Mexican restaurant on North Broadway by a man in another car with a shot gun.

The man then drove to a driveway of a house on Paris Pike. The victim had bird shot in his shoulder and all over his car. Officials say his injuries were not life threatening.

The victim was charged with DUI and drug paraphernalia. Police had a difficult time getting information from him because of a language barrier. They have not released a description of the shooter.
