Two parents are in jail after their children were found living in a home in Jessamine County that police call downright filthy.

Police arrested Latisha Davis and John High for endangering the children, ages four, three and 21- months old.

It all started when a neighbor called police to say three kids were running in and out of traffic. At least one of the children wasn't wearing any clothes.

Police say when they showed up at the home, the parents had no idea the children had left the house. Police say the house was filled with trash and say it was filthy.

Davis and High are lodged in the Jessamine County Detention Center on wanton endangerment charges.

Neighbors say the kids are living with family members in Lexington.
