Video will be available shortly

A Kentucky man, who moved his family halfway across the country to help people in need, ends up a crime victim.

Tony White was murdered in New Orleans, the city's 108th murder this year. Police say it appears it was a random carjacking.

White was on his way home from work at around two in the morning when the crime took place. He was found face down in the street, with a gunshot wound to the face.

Someone took off with his Jeep Liberty.

The white family is from Johnson County. Tony white was a contract manager there and helped build the Big Sandy Penitentiary in Martin County.

He moved to New Orleans to be a construction manager for the city as rebuilding continues after Hurricane Katrina.

His wife says she will not stay in New Orleans, but isn't sure where to go now.
