Ft. Campbell soldier killed in Afganistan

Governor Steve Beshear ordered flags to fly at half staff Friday, in honor of a slain soldier based out of Kentucky, killed overseas.

25-year-old Private First Class Jason Kropat was killed last week while fighting for operation enduring freedom, in Afghanistan.

Kropat's unit had been attacked by insurgents.

He was stationed at Fort Campbell.

Kropat was from White Lake, New York.
