Pipe Bomb Explodes In Lexington Apartment Building

Police are investigating after an explosion at a Lexington apartment building early Thursday morning.

It happened on Camelot Drive, off of Wilson Downing.

When police arrived on the scene, they say they found some type of homemade device.

After arriving, investigators determined someone filled a pop bottle with a device used to heat military meals.

No one was injured and there was no damage to the apartment building.
