A man accused of causing a deadly wrong-way crash has pleaded not guilty to murder and DUI charges.

24-year-old Adam Leake was arraigned Monday afternoon.

He was arrested Friday in Russell County.

Lexington Police say he was drunk and driving the wrong way on New Circle Road in January, when his car hit Connie Layne's car head-on, killing her.

Court documents state Leake's blood alcohol level was more than triple the legal limit.

A Fayette County judge has set Leake's bond at $502,000.
