Next stop, Syracuse.

The Big Easy was just that for the UK basketball team.

Now, the Cats are getting ready to make the trip to the East Regional, for a date with the Cornell Big Red.

Many Big Blue fans are making plans to go too.

UK students will have their chance to get tickets Monday night. A lottery for student tickets is being held at 9 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.

Many are wondering if Big Blue fans will outnumber Big Red fans.

But some fans we talked to don't think the 600 mile difference between Lexington and Ithaca, New York to Syracuse will make a difference.

UK fan Stu Brown is hoping to get tickets after the student lottery.

"My cousin who lives in Syracuse said, 'I hear UK is coming. If you get a ticket, you got a place to stay.'"

Tickets for the games in Syracuse are also available through Ticketmaster.

They're $148 each, and include both regional semifinal games and the regional final game.

UK plays Cornell Thursday night in Syracuse, The game is scheduled to tip around 10 p.m. You can watch it live on WKYT.
