Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. This action is packing a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall. Flash flooding is possible through Wednesday.
A mother and her children are recovering after a car crash right in front of a Central Kentucky hospital.
Emergency officials in Georgetown shut down part of the heavily traveled Lexington Road Wednesday morning, after the crash.
27 NEWSFIRST was told the mother lost control of her car and hit a utility pole, before the car flipped.
The mother and her children all had minor injuries, and were taken across the road to Georgetown Community Hospital to be checked out.
Traffic has since returned to normal on the road.
