FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Governor Fletcher has appointed one of his
lawyers to the Public Service Commission.
The panel oversees more than 15-hundred utilities in Kentucky.
Fletcher named Caroline Pitt Clark to the three-person panel.
She was an attorney for Fletcher during the merit hiring scandal
investigated by the Attorney General's office.
Clark is an attorney with the Louisville law firm, Landrum and
Shouse.
Attorney General Greg Stumbo questioned whether Clark was
appointed to the panel in return for her work on the governor's
defense team.
