Somerset Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

Somerset, Ky. - A 57-year old Somerset man was killed Sunday afternoon in a motorcylce crash two miles east of the city on Grundy Road, according to Pulaski County Sheriff Todd Wood.

Authorities have identified the victim as Thomas G. Wilburn of Cherry Grove Road in Somerset. Officials say Wilburn was driving his 2004 Harley Davidson southbound shortly before 2 pm Sunday when he lost control, veered off the road and overturned.

Wilburn was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pulaski County Coroner's Office. Sheriff's units were assisted at the scene of the accident by Somerset Police and Pulaski County Fire and Emergency Services. An investigation is continuing.
