LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A family lawyer says that the family
members of a 4-year-old boy who was found dead will be allowed to
return to the United States after burying the child in Guatemala.
Charlie Nett says the boy's mother Rosalina Cano and her
boyfriend Samuel Hernandez will be granted
significant-public-benefit parole by U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement.
Nett is also director of Immigration and Legal Services at
Catholic Charities of Louisville.
The Courier-Journal reports on its Web site that that will allow
Cano and Hernandez to travel to Guatemala on Friday for the burial
of Cesar Ivan Aguilar-Cano.
Ivan disappeared June 29th while playing behind his apartment
building near Churchill Downs. His body was found July seventh.
