Mother And Son Killed In Freak Accident

A freak accident in western Kentucky killed a mother and her young son, and now police are investigating.

Police in Hopkins County say a man was trying to off load a tractor from a trailer attached to his truck; when the truck rolled forward with the trailer still attached.

The pickup crossed the road and went into a yard where it hit a mother and her two children who were outside playing.

25- year-old Christy Caraway and her 10 -month-old son died.

Caraway's four -year-old daughter has been released from the hospital.

The man moving the tractor was not injured.
