A father and son are now safe after they went hiking in the Red River Gorge, went off their trail, and couldn't find their way back.
The two were spotted Wednesday night, but crews couldn't reach them.
Rescuers had to wait until daylight Thursday morning to get to the lost hikers.
Crews from both Menifee and Wolfe Counties led the pair out after a 16 hour rescue.
The father and son were unhurt and grateful for the help.
The two are from Ohio.
While they plan to spend the next two days in the Red River Gorge, they're going to spend it hanging out by their campsite.
