A grand jury will now decide if there's enough evidence to move forward with murder charges against a man accused of causing a deadly crash.

Adam Leake was arrested last month and pleaded not guilty to murder and DUI charges. His case was waived to the grand jury during a hearing Thursday.

Lexington Police say the 24-year-old was drunk, and driving the wrong way on New Circle Road in January, when his car hit Connie Layne's car head-on.

Layne died at the scene.

Court documents state Leake's blood alcohol level was more than triple the legal limit.

Leake is due back in court May 6.
