New information in a murder investigation underway in Bourbon County.

State Medical Examiner Emily Craig and other officials were on the scene on Tuesday at a garage in Paris where six-year-old Wesley Mullins' body was found this weekend.

27 NEWSFIRST has learned they're there with Paris Police collecting evidence, but officials won't say exactly what they're looking for.

Wesley Mullins was found dead inside his grandfather's garage in Paris not long after his family reported him missing.

The coroner says Mullins died of blunt force trauma after being hit several times with an object. Police say they are interviewing a person of interest in the case, but have not said who that person is.

Tuesday Mullins' grandfather and another man staying in the house at the time of murder were both given polygraph tests, but Paris police declined to comment on the results.
