LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham
Clinton will be back in Kentucky next week to speak at the
University of Louisville as part of the McConnell Center's lecture
The university said Friday that the former first lady will speak
in the Brown & Williamson Club at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on
April 9. The event is free and open to the public.
Tickets are required for the speech and will be made available
by the McConnell Center on a first-come, first-served basis.
Clinton spent time campaigning in Kentucky in the spring of 2008
in winning the state's Democratic presidential primary. She lost
the nomination to Barack Obama.
Her husband, Bill Clinton, carried Kentucky twice in winning the
presidency in 1992 and 1996.
