Romany Rd. Kroger reopens after SUV crashes into store

It was business as usual at a Kroger damaged when a car crashed through it Saturday.

The location on Romany Road reopened Sunday morning, after inspectors determined it was safe.

Police say a 79-year-old woman trying to park her SUV along the curb, mistook her gas pedal for the brake and went crashing through the front of the building.

Two customers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver also went to the hospital as a precaution.
