Police are investigating whether a possible meth lab caused a mobile home to catch fire in Harrison County.

The two people inside the home on Fields Road, near the Scott County line, had to escape through a window.

An explosion was heard shortly before the fire started in the kitchen, according to sheriff's deputies.

Family members took the 30-year-old man and 42-year-old woman to the hospital, suffering from cuts and burns.

Police tell us no one has been charged.

Drug and arson investigators responded to the scene.
