Kentucky Man Arrested In Internet Sting

A Kentucky man faces some serious charges after police in Pennsylvania arrested him during an online sting.

Officials say 46-year-old Thomas Vascotto, of Cynthiana, traveled to Pennsylvania to have sex with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl. The girl was actually an undercover agent.

According to the criminal charges, Vascotto approached the teenager in an internet chat room.

Officials arrested Vascotto on Saturday in Butler County, Pennsylvania when he arrived at a meeting place he allegedly set up with the 13-year-old.
