Shots Fired Into Lexington Home

A Lexington family gets a rude awakening when shots are fired at their home. It happened on Chiles Avenue.

Four shots were fired into the front door of the home. The bullets shattered the door.

A woman, her husband, and her son were inside at the time. They weren't injured.

The family says they're glad her other son wasn't at home because the bullets traveled through the door, and into the room where he would have been sleeping.

Neighbors who heard what happened say the believe the shooter was on foot, because they never heard a car pull up or take off.

No arrests have been made.
