A college student is dead after a crash on I-64.
It happened at the 58 mile marker in Franklin County Sunday morning.
Kentucky State police say an SUV lost control and veered off the road.
When the driver, 21-year-old Kiara Hinkle, tried to correct the vehicle it rolled several times. Hinkle, of Louisville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According the Franklin County Coroner, Hinkle was a UK student.
The four other passengers were taken to the hospital.
They are 20-year-old Nikki Berry, 19-year-old Aubrey Barton, 23-year-old Natya Stafford, all of Lexington.
The fourth passenger, 19-year-old Jason Turner, is from Florence. He is the only one still in the hospital.
At last check, he wa listed in critical condition at U.K. Hospital.
State police say they're not sure what caused Hinkle to lose control.
All of the victims were wearing seat belts, according to police.
