A Powerball ticket worth $200,000 sold in Lincoln County remains unclaimed and is going to expire soon. Lottery officials are still waiting for someone to come forward who matched the first five white balls but not the Powerball, to win the prize.
The $200,000 ticket was purchased from Stop & Save #2, located at 10055 Somerset Road in Waynesburg, on October 24th. If the prize is not claimed the money will go into the unclaimed prize fund, which funds the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) Reserve Fund.
The winning numbers for that Powerball draw were: 14-22-38-49-59 and the Powerball number was 16. Players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. This ticket will expire on April 22, 2010, if not cashed at lottery headquarters in Louisville before that.
