Arrest made in violent home invasion

Richmond Police say they've arrested a man responsible for a violent home invasion back on April 5. The couple who lives at the home on Irvine View Street told police at the time that three men burst into their home after a woman knocked on the door at 4:40am and asked to use the phone because of car trouble.
The couple told police one of the men had a gun. They say the group put the couple into the bathroom while they searched their house, taking money, debit cards and jewelry.
Richmond Police announced Monday afternoon one arrest in the case. Police charged 36-year old Bud Hembree with burglary. Police say he had one of the stolen debit cards in his possession.
Police are still searching for the other suspects in the home invasion.
