School Bus Crash Leaves Students Stranded

A school bus crash in Leslie County left dozens of students stranded, and sendt one man to the hospital.

The bus was transporting middle and high school students home after the first day of school, when a car hit the school bus head on.

It happened on Lee Coal Road in Leslie County around 3:30pm on Thursday.

Parents were allowed to pickup their children at the scene of the accident. Otherwise, the students will be taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

It does not appear that any children are hurt, but driver of other car was transported to the hospital.
