The countdown is on for the traffic to double and the hectic life to begin.

It's back to school time on Monday for Fayette County students, but on Thursday school bus drivers were already out and taking to their routes.

Their day started early, similar to the way it will next week. Drivers took part in a dry run, trying to adjust to some major changes.

Some of the changes include different routes and going from four start times to three.

Drivers say changing the start times will change the way they operate. That's why Thursday's dry run was so critical.
