The latest happened Thursday night on Whitney Avenue.

Police say two rounds were fired into the home, also hitting a vehicle.

Police say no one was inside the home at the time.

Early Thursday morning, a similar shooting happened on nearby Chiles Avenue. No one was injured in that case either.

Police say they're looking into whether the two shootings are connected.
