Key Kentucky Legislator Says He May Want EKU President's Job

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - A key state representative said he may consider pursuing the vacant president's job at Eastern Kentucky University.

State Representative Harry Moberly of Richmond says he will
consider applying for the position once the search for a permanent
replacement for Joanne Glasser is under way.

Moberly works at the university as director of student judicial
affairs and services for individuals with disabilities at the
university. He says he would not be interested in becoming the
interim president.

Eastern Kentucky University's Board of Regents is set to meet
tomorrow in the first step in replacing Glasser, who resigned last
week to accept the job as president of Bradley University in
Peoria, Illinois.
