Back To School For Fayette County Students
It's back to school today for Fayette County students, and school leaders want to make sure today goes as smoothly as possible.
Just this past week the extremely hot weather prompted Fayette County School officials to inspect air conditioning units in all the schools.
They found them to be in good working condition.
They also decided not to turn down ac units over the weekend, so schools would be comfortable for students Monday morning.
Parents scrambled to pick up those last minute must haves.
Many of those shopping for school supplies say just finding all the right items kids need for the new year is a test in its self.
