LONDON, Ky. (AP) - A pre-trial hearing is scheduled tomorrow for accused killer Tony Hodge in Laurel District Court. Hodge, who is charged with murdering an unknown person near Lily Pits in December 2003, was arraigned Friday in Laurel District Court. His attorneys entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
Hodge is scheduled for trial October eighth in Madison Circuit Court for the Big Hill murder of Margaret Jackson and assault of Mitchell Turner. Madison Commonwealth's Attorney David Smith says the trial will continue as scheduled, even in light of the new charges.
Jackson and Turner were shot and stabbed multiple times during a robbery at Jackson's home. Another London man, Douglas Hall, also is charged in that murder.
