A female driver thought a man was coming to her aid on a Kentucky road, but she says she was horribly fooled.

Late Monday night, Kentucky State Police announced an arrest in the case.

The alleged attack happened late Sunday night on U.S. 27 in Pendleton County.

A woman says she was driving when a car following her flashed its lights and signaled her to pull over.

Police say the man tricked the woman into thinking her license plate was defective then grabbed the woman and forced her into his car.

Police arrested Adam Yazell, 28, of Carlisle.

Yazell is charged with rape, sodomy and kidnapping.

Police say the victim gave a detailed description of her attacker, including details about his truck, which allowed them to make an arrest.
